I thought of that and yes they are exactly the same, both are upper
case.

Look at you <INPUT> tag in your HTML.
Is the name="LAST" exactly the same as your cgiGetVar('LAST') call? If
not, that's your problem.  These names are case sensitive--A common
problem.
