   You can do more than 65536, it may tweak it a little bit but it would be  a 
hindrance of there is packet loss. This buffer is bet. FTP and the TCP layer.

I'd be interested in this also.  When we run sniffers (or whatever they're 
called) the bandwidth on the lan card coming out of the i5 is bored.  I'd 
like to really put it to use.
