I'll accept that asp.net is like JSP. But .NET is much more than a
webapp server, it's kind of like the entire JVM, but even more than that
since it supports multiple languages. It really is probably most like
ILE, but even that ignores the entire existance of the class libraries.
Maybe it's a hybrid of ILE and Java?

Um, I'll say because it's better. But Joe will say that JSP is better.
In the end I think it's really a question of Word vs. WordPerfect --
they'll both get the job done, and do more than you'll ever need -- it's
really a religious argument, something akin to which came first, the
chicken or the...
