Im used to any sql based database im currently at home so dont have the
code handy but I know one problem i came accross was a strange error
when I put where ref=1234 for example it said it wasnt supported

What are you doing w/the DSN? Can you post some code? You'll need to
execute the appropriate sql select statement to get any data. The 400
should look no different that SQLServer or Oracle from a sql select
point of view, what are you used to?

Hi I know nothing about as400 but I do know asp and I want to pull

out of an as400 file into asp

Here is what i do know

I have a file called ctx4nthg in a library called qgpl the as400 is
called tdc01 and the username is tdc123 and password is pa55w01 

I Have installed client access tools onto my webserver I tried just
creating a dsn and calling that but it returns no results it doesnt
seem
to find any data at all 
can anyone help me.
I have been searching the web for ideas for weeks now
