If you fire up the actual admin console application (not the pain in the butt admin tool in the web server admin GUI), there's and option under the "Environment" menu option called "Update Web Server Plugin". Click that link and then click the "OK" button. The documentation is in the InfoCenter (http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/iseries/v5r2/ic2924/index.htm?info/rzamy/50/express.htm). FWIW, I got burnt badly by the admin tools that are part of the web server GUI earlier this year and I now try to avoid them at all costs. The problem I ran into is that it caches information from WAS and it's very easy when installing updated WAR files to get the information out of sync (all it takes is mis-typing the context and these tools quit working). The actual console app is much faster at doing everything but it has a bunch more options that are, to say the least, overwhelming at first (especially when updating or installing new WAR files). Fortunately, the defaults work well and after the first app or two, it wasn't an issue. How do you regenerate the plug-in config file. Do you know of documentation on this? So far, the only thing I've found that requires a restart is changing virtual hosts. Matt
