Mark, There isn't an iSeries version of a base64 decoder that I'm aware of. I recently had to do some decoding and finally found one on the net. I think it was written by Beppe C. (can't remember the spelling, sorry) and it works well. Try a Google search. If you can't find it contact me off list and I'll scrounge up the code and send you a copy. It may be in the RPG list archives so check there too. Does OS/400 at V5R2 come with a base64 decoder? If not, what one do you all use? Is it a C function that can be prototyped in RPG or must I create the service program using the native C module?
