I do have *IOSYSCFG & *ALLOBJ. Also (because Apache Redbook mentioned) I gave myself specific *all auth to QATMHIN* files in qusrsys. Have tried both my profile & qsecofr. I did find some posts on an ibm board - so i also did their recommends: made sure loopback interface active added a Host Name to the system (cfgtcp options 10 & 12). Looked in qaudjrn & see lots of activity - profile swaps, etc, but no "error" Looked in http job's joblogs and see no big error. jim ----- Original Message ----- From: "Haas, Matt" <Matt.Haas@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Web Enabling the AS400 / iSeries" <web400@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, January 13, 2005 8:40 AM Subject: RE: [WEB400] apache create server auth error > Jim, > > Do you have *IOSYSCFG special authority? I believe you need that and *ALLOBJ to create and manage HTTP servers through the GUI. If you're going to use SSL, you'll also need *SECADM to use the certificate manager. > > I don't remember exactly where it's at in the documentation but there's a topic that describes the needed authorities. > > Matt > > -----Original Message----- > From: Jim Franz [mailto:franz400@xxxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Wednesday, January 12, 2005 11:02 PM > To: WEB400@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [WEB400] apache create server auth error > > > Using wizard to create an apache server.
