For debugging purposes, I'm trying to port part of a webservice now running on
weblogic into a cgi server (powered by Apache).

The rpg program receives the xml message by getting the length
(QtmhGetEnv->CONTENT_LENGTH) and then the text with QtmhRdStin.

If the client sends simple ASCII text everything runs fine. However sometimes
the message can contain unusual characters - in my country !! - like the french
cedil, for example, that is sent in ascii as x'A1AFBE'.

When the server tries to get it, the job QZSRCGI crashes instead of translating
the special sequence into EBCDIC x'AABCB9'.

I've tried to change the CgiConvMode to BINARY, and in this case the message
arrive as is, however the server runs for other purposes too and we can't leave
it in this mode.

Any help is welcome.
Giuseppe.
