We currently use php (in pase mode) on both 825 and 830, mixed with cgi
pages (Rothmans & std api methods), and jsp (with Tomcat).

Performances are not too bad, but we found it reliable and easy to use. It
has a lot of useful functions and features (create pdf, parse xml,
socket/http connections, etc) and there is a lot of code in internet to
learn from.
