[WEB400] DDS not converting properly

I'm just starting to look at webfacing to see how it works so I
apologize in advance if these are basic questions... 
 I'm able to use the wizard to convert my DDS with no errors but when I
preview in webfacing perspective, it looks nothing like it should.  The
fields are not at all where they are suppose to be or don't appear at
all and I have a some actual code showing up on screen.    Also,  in the
wizard I picked the type of style I wanted but the preview just appears
as white.
 
I would have thought that there would be some adjustments to make after
the conversion but in everything I've read, it sounds like I was suppose
to just convert and be set for the most part (for a very basic webfacing
screen).  Am I missing a step?  Does the DDS have to have special coding
in it before doing the conversion?
