I tried it over ISDN  a few times and my best time was over 1 minute. I

IMHO, it is much too complex for use over a dial up line.

When you have  simplified it as much as you can, might I suggest that 
you try it with a modem and a very slow PC (say 266MHz if you can find 
one) as not all your congregation may have the latest 3.00 GHz Pentium.  
The slower PC's will have real  trouble rendering graphics.
