>You knew I knew those terms, but you were being cute. You accused me of using buzzwords so I spelt out everything in that sentence for _anybody_ (not necessarily you) that didn't know what the heck I was talking about. I do not pride myself on making myself sound better than I actually am, I just want to dispel that right now. Maybe it was a little tongue in cheek but nonetheless I was accused of using words that are not common knowledge. <Joe> So, you are willing to be sarcastic, but when someone disagrees with you, you get all huffy about it. The phrase that comes to mind is "can dish it out, but can't take it." Thicken up that skin, kiddo, or else don't try to be cute. The other phrase is "don't run with the big dogs...", but I think I'll just sign off now. </Joe> The skin that you are asking me to form shouldn't need to come about. This is a community of people who genuinely care about whether or not somebody gets their broken program fixed or somebody that can't find the information that they have been searching for. I don't spend 3 nights a week programming at home just so I can get rich (I haven't gotten a dime from my open source efforts), I think I have something to offer this group and from the responses I get a lot of people are thankful to me for taking the time to put stuff online. It becomes really hard to justify that when you come in and throw your weight around. I have no problem being questioned and I also have no problem admitting that I am wrong, but you are not immediately concerned about anybody except for yourself. What I mean by that is the way you state things is completely inappropriate for somebody of your status. I would expect screw ups from younger punks like myself but for crying out loud Joe, you claim that you have worked for all of these companies and developed all of these great things but you posses very little qualities one would find in a refined leader. Many of us respect your knowledge and we agree with a lot of what you have to say, but that is only part of the package. Take a look at how the likes of Buck Calabro and Barbara Morris make their point and share their knowledge. They do it with an incredible amount of patience and through reading many of their emails I have found their information to be very sound and professional. You will never find them teaching the masses with the inappropriate methods you have chosen. It is easy to learn from leaders like that. If I need to be taught, TEACH ME!!!!! If you can't teach then let somebody else do it, because there are many capable individuals on these lists that can! Pretty silly words from someone who said the following: HTTP - HyperTextTransferProtocal XML - eXtensible Markup Language RPG-CGI - Report Program Generator-Common Gateway Interface Web Services - A program available through HTTP communication that uses XML as its data transport.
