Native solutions don't exist on the 400 for SOAP - apparently - IBM doesn't believe that it's a standard yet... except in Java... If you don't want Java - HTTPS posting to another server using SSL requires something like the GETURI function you can purchase from Brad Stone for under 300 bucks - REALLY worth it IMHO! I used a PC interfacing my external SOAP client... it was their VERSION of soap (or their implementation) - so good luck. You could have a look at Apache Axis, an open source SOAP implementaion in Java (see http://ws.apache.org/axis/) Some info concerning security: http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/~checkout~/xml-axis/java/docs/security.html Christian _______________________________________________ This is the Web Enabling the AS400 / iSeries (WEB400) mailing list To post a message email: WEB400@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/web400 or email: WEB400-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/web400.
