Ok, I got bit by the same problem as I had before ... the CURRENT user profile in the PSDS is *NOT* necessarily the real current user profile. It's the current user profile when the program starts. I've changed my logic to use the QSYRUSRI API to retrieve the current user profile and my application works fine. You would think I would learn from my mistakes. david
