Anton: Thanks for the reply but that is not the issue. When configuring WebSphere, you set up a server project. Under that, you set up a JDBC provider. Under that, you set up a Data Source. Under the Data Source, there are multiple Resource Properties. I think my problem is that I don't know how to set up the resource properties. Life was a lot simpler when you just coded a connection object. I don't know how JNDI works and can't find any good documentation. Can anyone help? Thanks. I don't know anything about WebSphere, but i'm feeling lucky today and this sounds as if the database on your /400 is not in the directory of databases. WRKRDBDIRE I guess you need here an entry for remote location = *LOCAL. 0.02 Euro best regards, Anton Gombkötö _______________________________________________ This is the Web Enabling the AS400 / iSeries (WEB400) mailing list To post a message email: WEB400@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo.cgi/web400 or email: WEB400-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/web400.
