My first thought was of implementing a pop-up calendar via server-side
logic. My initial unspoken reaction was to question why anyone would
attempt such a thing in Webfacing?

Now, after understanding that the calendar would be implemented entirely via
client-side JavaScript, I can picture better how it might work. The trick
is to figure out how to download the script. Although I've never used
Webfacing, it seems that referencing a .js file in the generated .jsp file
would work. Wouldn't it?
