I recently changed one of my CGI programs to use SQL. Based on my change, it quit working! Damn. The program runs fine when I run it with my user ID and test it with debug. When I run it using CGI (User QTMHHTTP), I get the following error: Attempt to use permanent system object QSQRXLTR without authority. Attempt to use permanent system object QSQRLEX without authority. I also get a message saying I'm not authorized to the file I'm doing my SELECT on. Before: QTMHHTTP was authorized to SLS: FSLS IF E K DISK ExtFile(wSLS) F USROPN C EVAL wSLS = 'LIBRARY/SLS' C OPEN SLS After: QTMHHTTP is not authorized to SLS C/Exec SQL C+ SELECT.......FROM LIBRARY.SLS........ Running V5R1. Users have little authority, programs have lots. David Smith President Advanced Information Solutions, Inc. Email: dsmith@ais400.com Phone: 517.548.7170
