Have you checked the following with the classic server;
1) All JAVA developer kit options need to be loaded!!
2) SSL needs to be properly configured - is there an SSL certificate that has
expired? Correctly loaded? Set to use w/out configuring the SSL?
3) All PTF's for JDK, Database, TCPIP, Cume NEED to be up to date. We'd find
that many PTF's would point to TCP/IP stuff, load it individually - and POOF -
2 more problems. It stankith! You MUST take a stand with PTF's and this
stuff, and keep up with it. When Netscape 6.0 came out, no images downloaded.
It was hitting the HTTP server with some weirdo thing that basically crunched
the images. Wonder what trouble Netscape 7.0 is causing...

that is exactly how the system was setup. we do however have an early 2002
cume loaded. 99156 gets applied this weekend along with new cume. We will
see what happens.

Jim, sounds a bit like an installation from an ancient Axx-CD-set without
PTFs.

I'd get on current cumulative PTF and install SF99156, the HTTP Server
Group PTF for V5R1 (current level is 10 per Dec 9th, yours is dspdtaara
qhttpsvr/sf99156).

A customer installed V5R1 some weeks ago from Axx-CDs (the first GA release
AFAIK) which were in his desk for more than a year and wasn't even able to
start *ADMIN instance, although everything seemed pretty set up. I told him
to install PTFs, i didn't hear anything yet, so i think the problem is
solved... :-)
