Since the same Net.Data job may be handling requests from multiple
concurrent users, wouldn't the real trick be the code to maintain state for
each user?
Yes, the job may handle more than one request; one after the other. And?

I don't understand the word "state" in this; what has it to do with, say,
50 lines with checkboxes, input fields and so on?

How would your approach look like?
