Hi Everyone, Sorry for cluttering up the list. It was IE5.5 caching causing me grief. I thought that even if the Refresh button or F5 wouldn't get the latest file, ending it and restarting would. Actually, all any of those actions do is cause IE5.5 to check to see if the file's date & time is more recent than the cached version, and if not, it uses the cached version. Since I was simply renaming the files without touching them (i.e. changing the data), the data-changed date remained the same, and IE5.5 used its cached version. Once I either deleted all IE5.5's Temporary Internet Files (cache) OR actually changed the index.html file's contents, it worked.
