Form fields in HTML can be sized and maxed according to your own
specifications, as long as you're using the POST method for data
transmission.

I have to admit that I don't know a ton about XML, but considering an XML
document is a file in and of itself, why would you have them input the XML
into a form like that?  I might not have the right idea on what you're
doing, but the best way for them to get the data to you would just be to
send you the file (also possible through a form), and then run it through
your XML parser server-side.

This way, you don't need to worry about fields, and you have a complete and
intact file to work with.

Am I on the right track?
