if I do an explicit 'open' and 'close' on a file, it WILL close the file,
even if the AG is still active won't it?  for instance, I do a lot of
library list manipulation and open/close of usropn files.  I'm pretty sure
I wont get bit by an file from the wrong library still being open if I
explicitly closed it, will I?
