Walden, Well, as I get more and more into it, I'm learning "the simpler, the better". my web pages tend to be UGLY! (pronounced ooglee). I avoid frames like the plague. not for a lack of interest, rather it's a lack of comfort right now. The stuff I'm writing now is directed to a captive audience (intranet applications) so there are no browser version problems. That wasn't always the case. back when netscape was still popular, I prayed that someone would hurry up and win the browser wars, because I was tired of coding for all possible browsers. On the other hand, back then I at least had some web designer types at my beck and call and didn't have to mess much with the "pretty" side of things. I only needed to be able to read and make minor mods to the html/javascript stuff. Now, I have to do it all and while I'm getting better, it's still a bit of a struggle. anyway, thanks for the help, rick ---original message--- Richard, If you thought there were lots of ways to do things on the AS/400, just wait until you get into more HTML! <G> ------------ Walden H Leverich III President Tech Software (516)627-3800 x11 WaldenL@TechSoftInc.com http://www.TechSoftInc.com
