David is correct, and I've stated this before.  most
applications online are CGI, and if you break them down I'm
sure you'll see a mix of Perl, PHP, Cold Fusion and ASP
being the majority.

There is some JSP out there, but it's not used "the way it
should be".

None of these other people continue to try and sway others
to use their tools because they assume the other tools are
inferior.  They all do the job, which is outputting dynamic
content to the web.  They all have their strenghts, and they
all have their weaknesses.
