Robert console speed comes down to your 400 which does all the work (what
model is it), so slow 400 = slow console. Its all driven by EJB's that sit
on the 400 (which is why its not that fast), so the best bet is give as much
memory as possible to the subsystem running your console. We have quite a
bit of info on IGNITe when dealing with WAS also look at
http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/ebusiness/expreport/wastips.htm
for info on running WAS on the 400.

Hi,

Does anybody know how to speed up the WebSphere admin console when
connecting to a WebSphere server running on an AS400?

We have used the console on an NT box connecting to a NT WebSphere server
with great speed but when we try and access our AS400 the speed is terrible.

Any ideas? Tweaks?
