Contents Of Output Queue

I have been given the task creating a database file from 18000 spool files
that reside on the AS400.  Does anyone know of an easy way to retrieve the
contents of an output queue into a file.  I need something similar to a
DSPOBJD to an outfile.  I could then read this file and process each spool
file with the CPYSPLF command.  If anyone has any ideas, example code, etc.
it would be greatly appreciated.
