>> I just copied it off a web page??? I love it - the way code flows round the world is fascinating >> One question I have for you would be this - what happens if my web page exceeds 1024 bytes? I can't recall the limit - it is greater than 1024 bytes though - I think that may have been a limit way back when - maybe Brad knows. I believe there is a requirement that a newline occur at least every n characters - but I thought that was 2048 or somesuch. Check out IBM's free library of CGI development routines CGIDEV2. It provides a very flexible and very fast method that allows you use substitution variables in your HTML and takes care of little details like what was the input method, gives logging capabilities etc. etc. The basic library can be obtained from the Rochester Tech Studio - but the best way to get it (and try it out love) is to go to www.easy400.ibm.it +--- | This is the WEB400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to WEB400@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to WEB400-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to WEB400-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: email@example.com +---
