There is an unresolved issue with the parser:

Also affects sources with national language characters.

Hi all,

I switched to RDi 9.9 a few days after it came out, and I've noticed some
strange difference with 9.8.

Our RPGLE sources contain lots of coloured comments (using low hex
characters) and since upgrading to version 9.9 these are flagged with the
errors above when validating or even when editing source. Automatic syntax
checking is on.

Also the lines where such colour codes are present, are shifted one
character to the left, which I think is causing the errors.

Compilation does work so it's clearly a parser and/or verifier problem.

The exact same source will validate just fine in 9.8.

I compared the configurations for both versions of RDi but can't find any
difference. FWIW I copied my 9.8 workspace for use in 9.9.

Any clue as to what I can do about this?

Thanks in advance.

Peter
