Thanks for the info.
What we discovered is that the old source code was created in a source member that was a length of 92. The new source member is 112.
The new source has mod marks beyond column 92, so the compare thinks everything has changed.
Then got frustrated when I change the LPEX compare column restricted comparison to be start in 6 and end in 70, but it still looked beyond column 70.
It appears that when you select compare with it is not using the lpex compare, so how do I use the LPEX compare so that I can ignore beyond column XX
