Hi Greg,

You are describing APAR SE79991 - RDi 9.8 - Cannot connect to IBM i server after changing a saved password.

And yes, for others that may run into the issue, the only option is to "Clear Passwords" and reconnect.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

I just changed my IBM i password for the first time since upgrading to v9.8 of RDi. I save my credentials in RDi, so when I fired it up I received the typical "incorrect password" message. Long story short... after changing it multiple times and disabling my user profile multiple times, I finally used the option to "Clear Passwords" under the connection properties. It's like it was still using the old password.

And before you ask... I had typed it into Notepad so that I could see it and paste it instead of typing it.
