Hi Justin,
Save yes, but RDi 9.8.0.0 will not use it on the next launch. We currently only launch by plugin and system name.
We CAN launch by saved .hod name, however that will require a code change.
Please add an Idea for here so we can address this request.

Is there a way to save 5250 settings when running from RDi?
I launch 5250 from the Object Table view and it loads with a generic session. I set all my configuration and save it. When I open 5250 again it's back to the generic.
