I believe I have iSphere successfully working with 9.8. I installed from one of their zip file archives. I don't think 9.8 uses the installation manager. Installing the activation kit is almost identical to installing iSphere. Very different than previous versions. Once you unzip the RDi archive where you want it... find the RDi.exe and pin it to your start menu. You will also find ACS in there along with RDi. So I was able to remove my other ACS install and use the one they included.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDi 9.8 questions/concerns/comments
Currently licensed to 9.6 and have just installed 9.8 on a Win10 Professional box. Looking for traces of 9.8 under by looking for IBM, Rational, and RDi.
Comments:
1) Install appeared to be easy--unzip and click on RDi.exe. Boom--done.
2) iSphere doesn't seem to be ready for 9.8.
3) I'm not using a secure communications method to access my remote host but I do go through the Cisco VPN.
Concerns:
1) There's no trace of 9.8 in Installation Manager/View Installed Packages.
2) There's no trace of 9.8 in IBM Software Delivery Platform.
3) There's no trace of 9.8 in the Start menu.
Questions:
1) Does installing the activation kit address the "without a trace"
concerns?
2) Any changes to the update process?
Thanks!
