FWIW, this problem started when my workspace got corrupted and a restored
it from backup.

Version is 5.2.4.r

"Load previous values" (both right & ancestor):
Connection, Library, File, Member

Hi Justin,

What iSphere version do you have installed and what are the settings in
iSphere -> Compare for the "Load previous values" of the source member
compare dialog.

I use iSphere 5.2.4.r and when I select Source -> Compare from a source
member loaded into the LPEX editor, the right member values are prepoaded
with the left member values.
