I was in Jesse's session and it was excellent at getting the base
understanding, and basic set up done. What it did not do, nor was it
intended to, was take it to the next step which is OK, it's set up, now
what's the practical use case, or generally best practices about how to
actually start using it. Maybe another session or two for that but so far,
90% of the presentations I've seen have been "here's how you set up", not
next steps.

We have:
Git installed from the Open Source Package Management,
Gitbucket installed on that same system. Works well, starts slow but once
it's running works fine.
eGit installed in RDi.

So now the question is what should the process be to manage the source?
(object management, change control, is a different topic)

Based on some research I think the simplest solution is to create the
branch from either command line or Gitbucket, then just use RDi to edit (or
VSCode, I really don't have a preference other than RDi is a bit more
complete) and when done use command line or Gitbucket to commit the
changes.

Then again since this is all new to me, I may have a somewhat naive view of
the process. Thoughts?
