We have:
Git installed from the Open Source Package Management,
Gitbucket installed on that same system. Works well, starts slow but once
it's running works fine.
eGit installed in RDi.

So now the question is what should the process be to manage the source?
(object management, change control, is a different topic)

Based on some research I think the simplest solution is to create the
branch from either command line or Gitbucket, then just use RDi to edit (or
VSCode, I really don't have a preference other than RDi is a bit more
complete) and when done use command line or Gitbucket to commit the
changes.

Then again since this is all new to me, I may have a somewhat naive view of
the process. Thoughts?
