It's not an earth-shaking problem.
This is the sort of thing where one notices a tiny defect at least once a
week and one wants to report it for neatness.
Which is why I had agitated for a lightweight issue tracker as opposed to
opening an IBM case for each defect.
I guess you have been appointed the "lightweight issue tracker" :)

The developer investigating this was able to reproduce the issue and has
opened an internal defect to resolve it. So it appears that this will be
resolved in time. I don't know what the cycle time on the docs are right
now so it may not be in the next product update but it will get there.
