Hi Vern
I have been promoting the RDi Hub for some time now. A couple of years
ago, Maha Masri made it much prettier. But the RDi Hub could always be
reached through the shortcut I created for it.
https://ibm.biz/rdi_hub
And for RFE's I have create a very convenient shortcut that prefills all of
the right values for Product and Component. It is
http://ibm.biz/rdi_rfe
Enjoy!

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [WDSCI-L] RDi Hub - new discovery for me
Sent by: "WDSCI-L" <wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Y'all
I think I found a big deal!
We've had some threads on RFEs for RDi lately. While googling about, I
ran across this link -
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/ibm-rational-developer-i-hub
I must admit, I had never seen this. Was I asleep when this was
mentioned somewhere?
It does have a link to submit an RFE, but it is not preloaded for RDi.
There IS a hint, however, to which values to enter when submitting RDi
RFEs, as here -
* Search an RDi RFE
<
https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=searchRFEs&SELECTED_SEARCH_TAB=TAB1&HIDE_DESCRIPTIONS=true&SORT_BY=CREATE_DATE&SORT_ORDER=DESC&is_javascript_enabled=true&SPECIFY_PRODUCT_TYPE=SPECIFY_PRODUCT_ALL&PROD_ID_SEARCH=&BRAND_ID_SEARCH=&PROD_FAM_ID_SEARCH=&BRAND_ID=352&PROD_FAM_ID=647&PROD_ID=195&COMP_ID=0&RESP_ID=0&REQ_STATE_ID=0&COMPANY=0&KW_TYPE=1&START_DATE=&START_DATE_submit=&STOP_DATE=&STOP_DATE_submit=&SOURCE_ID=0&INDUSTRY_ID=0&PRIVATE_CR=0&CREATED_BY=&KEYWORDS=
o Brand: Servers and Systems Software
o Product family: Programming Languages
o Product: Developer for Power Systems
So if you go to submit an RFE for RDi, you can take the option to
specify only the product, then start typing Developer for Power Systems
- it will make a list to choose from. (I believe IBM has so many
products, they don't try to populate the whole thing as a dropdown at
first.) Then you want the RPG/COBOL Development Tools component. You can
also choose to specify everything and use the above values, plus the
component.
Cheers
Vern
