I know of APAR SE76312 where an NPE happens when opening DSPF DDS (and
likely others) but it does not show any COBOL stuff. I'd need a case and
source to investigate the CBL thing. BTW, the NPE does not affect
operation at all.

In addition to what Jon already said, that missing class error seems to be
a problem of RDi 9.6.0.11 - I get the error every time, I’m opening a DDS
file. But it seems to work nevertheless.
