Hi Don,

The exit code=-805306369 usually appears when a workspace is corrupted.

Export the Rational Developer for I -> Configuration files. (Not the one for Automatic Distribution. That one is for pushing them to all clients on an IBM i.)

This is a great idea to do at least once a month to ensure you have the settings saved if/when you need to create a new workspace.

If saving was slow on your local system (ie if you are running local not remote) you should check to ensure your disk drive is not having issues with storage space.

Also, ensure that the install drive and workspace drive are not OneDrive.

Once you reinstall, be sure to reinstall any plugins you had installed that you use with your current settings you are exporting.

And it's best to contact IBM support. They are awesome at getting you up and running quickly and generally faster than a question in the mailing list.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] How to reinstall RDi - Do I save my workspace

Hi RDi team ...

I am having issues with RDi 9.6.0.11

I have a lot of systems and filters defined that I would not like to have to recreate.

If I am going to uninstall and then reinstall should I export my workspace first ?

Will that get me all the systems and filters I have set up ?

Is that not a good thing to do if I an having issues ?

The issue is that doing anything with systems in the explorer causes java to become "not responding"

Thanks

Don
