The Python plug-in for Eclipse is called PyDev. PyCharm is the
standalone offering from JetBrains, makers of IntelliJ IDEA.

I am pretty sure Buck also had issues trying to get PyDev to work with
RDi, so it would seem they just don't get along.

Unless you really love Eclipse, PyCharm is the better IDE for Python.
(Whether there are others that are even better is open to debate.) I
think you mentioned playing around with PyCharm during your early
Python exploration, and it is a common landing spot for people who
would otherwise use PyDev, so that's probably why that name popped
into your head.
