Java and ILE are two separate runtime environments. If you are using some
sort of JNI bridge I don't know of any cross-environment debugging. You
can set up a debug session in the RPG (using RDI or whatever) and also a
debug session with Java (using RDI or Eclipse or whatever). Source for
the Java, just like source for the RPG makes debugging a wee bit easier ...

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [WDSCI-L] Debug Java calls from RPG?
Sent by: "WDSCI-L" <wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Just wondering if it's possible to "step-into" Java applications that are
called from ILE RPG applications. I do not have the Java portion of RDi.
I also do not have java source.

I know how to spell java, and that's about it.

TIA
