Hi Edmund

It seems to me that if you know the source file information, you can use that in a WHERE clause for that service and find out what object was created from it - from that you can know what the created pagesize is. What am I missing?

If nothing is found, use the default or pop up a dialog or move where in the GUI the option is to set it.

Regards and safety to you all!
Vern

But there is another service

which does let you do SQL to query based on source member and source
file.  If the user is editing the source somewhere else than it was
compiled from, I think we can agree that they are out of luck.

That's for program information, I don't think that will help with a
printer
file.  The problem here is also that you're starting from the source. It
could be complied as anything so you would  have to query every printer
file
to make sure if the source you're editing was used to compile the
printer
file.
