get to grips with the Screen and Report Designer tools.

Also, an excellent tip that Susan offered many years ago. Don't use the
(default) Design Perspective - it's not an optimal layout. You're better
off building your own custom Perspective that encompasses all the
Design/Edit/Compile steps.
