Thanks Ken - I didn't get the middle one of the three screens you showed but it installed very easily and seems to work.

Having the preview function back is great. The "preview" in the split screen edit mode is useful for finding the position of elements for editing but is (at least for me) a very poor representation of what the screen looks like.

I also tried the approach suggested by Steve (thanks Steve) but without going through the whole install to see how selective I could be it seemed to have an awful lot of stuff I didn't need.

Jon,

I knew this question would come up.

I "used to" be able to search for it in eclipse Market place and install it. But, I keep on getting the very simple HTML editor instead. Which is okay, but I love the dual panel of the web-page editor.

1.) > Help > install new software
2.) Key in " Eclipse-NEON - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/neon"; and click "ADD"
could take up to a minute to load.
3.) Expand "Web, XML, Java EE and OSGi Enterprise Development"
4.) select "JSF Tools - Web Page Editor"
5.) Follow wizard to install

Hope someone else has simpler instructions.

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Split screen when editing HTML

Can you clarify "I just install it into my RDI." for those who don't know how to do that.

I should also mention that the HTML editor Ken references here is much better that the plug-in I'm using.
