I was getting that same error unless I ran RDi as root. I'm on a Mac and I
would have to run it from the shell ("sudo ./ExecuteScript" in the
application area)

I finally fixed it by updating the authorities in the
/Applications/IBM/SoftwareDeliveryPlatform path. (sudo chmod -R 775 *)

The authorities were -rwxr-xr-x on everything in there. Now it is:

drwxrwxr-x 3 root admin 96 Feb 8 2019 Eclipse.app
drwxrwxr-x 3 root admin 96 Feb 8 2019 RDi.app
-rwxrwxr-x 1 root admin 16663 Feb 18 09:22 artifacts.xml
drwxrwxr-x 13 root admin 416 Feb 19 14:43 configuration
-rwxrwxr-x@ 1 root admin 317 Feb 18 09:23 eclipse.ini
drwxrwxr-x 17 root admin 544 Feb 18 09:22 features
drwxrwxr-x 4 root admin 128 Feb 6 11:35 jdk
drwxrwxr-x 3 root admin 96 Feb 6 11:35 lum
drwxrwxr-x 5 root admin 160 Feb 8 2019 p2
drwxrwxr-x 43 root admin 1376 Feb 18 09:22 plugins
drwxrwxr-x 7 root admin 224 Feb 6 11:35 rdi
drwxrwxr-x 3 root admin 96 Feb 8 2019 readme

So admin didn't have authority to update anything in that path.

Kent,

I am as sure as I could be that I have never seen a "No repository found
containing" error unless people tried to install or update a plug-in
(not only iSphere) without administrator privileges.

I documented that in the iSphere help on page "Install Instructions ->
Install PLugin for RDi 8.0+".

So please use "Run as administrator" to launch RDi whenever you want to
install or update a plug-in. Most likely you can fix your incomplete
iSphere installation this way.

Regards,

Thomas

I tried installing the update from HELP and from Market Place. Both got
the error shown below. I tried uninstalling iSphere and that failed. Now
iSphere seems to be in between installed and uninstalled. I downloaded the
update ZIP file and I can't install the update from there.

How can I uninstall iSphere and start over?
