The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Hi Buck,
In 9.6.0.7 you'll need to select a calc spec or a comment. There are some calc spec's that we stop on also, specifically some branches from procedures or subroutines, as well as a few others (Like SQL).
For now, if you are blocked, simply comment out the offending calc spec and extract then uncomment.
This is an area we plan on expanding to continue to improve.
Hope this helps!

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Refactor -> Extract Procedure RSEO1012E
External: Pause and review the sender’s email address, any URLs before clicking links, opening attachments, or following requests. When in doubt, contact the Service Desk.
I tried to extract out a bit of code that contains an SQL FETCH and I get RSEO1012E - You have selected invalid RPG specifications for Extract Procedure. Assuming that this is expected in these early days, is there a document / reference where the restrictions on Extract Procedure are described?
It's exciting to watch RDi grow in this direction!
