If your workspace was running OK with no issues then you could just zip it up then unzip it on the new machine and open it with RDI.

The important config setting to save is the Remote Systems Artifacts. That is what contains all your connection & filter stuff.

Sent by: "WDSCI-L" <wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Greetings All,

I have a new Windows 10 laptop and tried exporting my RDi v9.6.0.6 Workspace configurations from my Windows 7 PC and then importing them to my Windows 10 Laptop.

I followed the steps in the video below and I get a message that the configurations were successfully imported and to restart. But after restart I don't see any of the filters, database connections, etc.

File > Export > Rational Developer for i > Configuration Files.

File > Import > Rational Developer for i > Configuration Files.

I must have miss a step but if anyone could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate.
