up in Replace mode. RDi must reset it sometime after if calls the user

Can you post the code in your userProfile class?
I would have expected that

view.doAction(view.actionId("toggleInsert"));

would do the trick.

If not, is this failing on a specific source type? Maybe the parser is
over-writing the insert/replace mode...
