Hi Danny,

With 9.6.0.6 the context of the cursor location will be displayed. Normally as a single name. However, when you are inside a subroutine, inside a procedure, the display will show the nested (child/parent) names.

Like (*INZSR/MyProcName) or (getTotal/CalculateDifference)

(*INZSR/Compile Time Data) seems to be a defect. Compile Time Data shouldn't be considered a parent structure.

Please contact IBM Support so we can address this issue.

Thanks!

Steve Ferrell

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Compile Time Data

I have noticed that since we got the new Subroutine display down at the bottom of the window sometimes it will say (*INZSR/Compile Time Data) and then some of the time it only shows the name of the subroutine.
So I went through the outline and touched each subroutine to see if there was a pattern, and what I found in this particular program was on the first 20 subroutines it only listed the subroutine name, but after that it showed the additional message.

So I just wanted to know .... HUH?

Please enlighten me, why does this do this and what does it mean.

I am certain someone here has the answer and I will be grateful to whomever.

Thanks & Regards,
Danny Hayes
