Just sharing some thoughts. I have been using RDi for over 14 years. And I have ran into issues...

My employer is constantly changing authority, firewall rules, etc...

So, I recommend checking the error long first. This is a view called error log. Assuming I remember correctly. That might give you an indication...

Next, I might suggest trying to run RDi as an administrator. I often run my RDi as administrator.

Another possibility is that you could install RDi in your document folder. And then you guarantee not to have any authority issues. This is called a user-install.

With that being said. Remember I am giving suggestions that might be helpful. Just some thing that have worked for me in the past....

Probably best to check the error log first. I could give you more details later. Just remember I am a fellow RDi user! Love it over all. I just in the last 1-1/2 months did a complete reinstall myself. I just want to start fresh again.

Hope the suggestion might help. We are all at difference experience levels. For me, RDi has brought enjoyment back to my development world. At least “over all”

in mind this install of Windows Java and RDi is brand new.
